= HOMETOWN = Alph Ruins

= HISTORY = Shasta lived with her father, Xavier, and her twin brother Shasan near the Ruins of Alph when she was a Natu. Her dad made a living working in a pawn shop. Eventually Xavier came across some tarot cards from another Xatu and gave these to Shasta, thus giving her her fascination with luck and fortunes. She practiced giving herself a fortune one day and saw it foretold of her stumbling across a precious item. Excited, she ran all around the ruins searching for something and stumbled upon a totally choice scarf, giving her more faith in her fortune telling skills and an interest in scarves and bandannas.

Shasta and Shasan have spent a lot of time together as children. Shasta would always lose something important and Shasan would be there to help her. This has led to Shasta being noticeably carefree and somewhat forgetful of small objects. Shasan on the other hand is somewhat overprotective of Shasta and feels the need to keep an eye on her lest she lose something important. Shasta doesn't have feel the need to depend on others though, only her brother if he is with her at the time she needs help.

Eventually she started to get tired of her home in Johto and decided it was time to move on. She decided to pack her things and head over to this wondrous town she heard of a town with no name, so she figured it was either a very eccentric name, or that it really did have no name. She packed her lucky tarot cards, plethora of scarves and bandannas and made her way over. Of course, she had forgotten many things like some of her own furniture and majority of her funds. Shasan will most likely stumble across these and panic.

= HOBBY = Tarot Cards. Her tarot cards readings are always right, but it's never guaranteed that they are reading the past, future, or present, so it only seems like it works half the time.

= JOB INFO= Fortune telling. For a small fee, baked goods, or a nice item Shasta will read your fortune using her tarot cards. (Warning: no refunds. Fortunes are not guaranteed to read the users future. Side effects may include: Confusion, psychic damage 2 turns later, sleep, or PokeRUS)

-Usually will mispronounce someone's name the first time they meet, but it will quickly go away if they are friends or see each other often.
-If she has not yet found out someone's name she will give them a nickname if she can think of one and call them by that name until he/she objects.
-Shasta has a minor fear of ghosts and ghost types. She knows not all ghosts are bad, but she can't help but be a little bit afraid. She can overcome this easily though, but just because she makes friends with a ghost type doesn't mean she won't freak out when she meets another one around the corner.
-Sometimes when she is confronted by a boy she likes, Shasta will have a long pause after a sentence and stare into space.
-Shasta can sometimes be seen staring at the sun or moon (usually setting or rising sun and on a full moon). She will freak out when you break her out of her trance, apologize or scold you depending on how you interrupted her, then run off.
-Shasta doesn't enjoy winter and would rather stay indoors with some cocoa and TV. She will bundle up excessively if she HAS to go out.
-Has a tendency to develop a crush on Fighting or Dark types.
- Shasta can't swim. She can "swim", but only with the aid of a profound amount of floatation devices.
-Shasta knows nothing about pokemon from the Kalos region. She will mispronounce their species names frequently.
-Shasta has a tendency to hug, cuddle, and strangle cute, adorable, and fluffy members of town.
